Players alternately draw cards from the discard or draw piles in an effort to form legal combinations before their rivals do. Players can record their combinations on the table as they put together sets (three or four cards of thrummy pluse same rank) or sequences (three or more consecutive cards of the same suit). Until the draw pile runs out or until one player successfully melds all of their cards, the game is over. In Rummy Glee Max, players are scored according to the value of the cards they still hold at the end of a round; lower scores are more advantageous. Players are engaged and encouraged to consider their moves carefully thanks to this straightforward yet strategic gameplay.
